Expert talk on "College to Corporate"


The Department of MCA has organized an expert talk on the topic "College to Corporate" for the students of the Audit Course on 22nd March 2024 from 3 PM to 4 PM. The main objective of this session was to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of the transition from college to corporate life, the necessary skills and mindset required, as well as strategies for a seamless and successful integration into the professional world. The session was conducted by Ms. Samiksha Tiwari. The expert talk began with Ms. Tiwari highlighting the key differences between the academic and corporate environments, emphasizing the importance of adaptability, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. She then delved into the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, developing a growth mindset, and embracing lifelong learning as essential components for thriving in the corporate setting. Ms. Tiwari also discussed the significance of soft skills, such as time management, teamwork, and conflict resolution, in contributing to professional success. She encouraged the students to actively seek out opportunities to hone these skills, both within their academic curriculum and through extracurricular activities.
