Expert talk on "Career Opportunities after MCA"

Department of MCA had organized an Expert talk on the subject "Career Opportunities after MCA" by Mr. Rakesh Agrawal, Product Owner, Amdocs, Pune on 23rd Dec 2022 from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm for the FYMCA students. He guided the students about variuos opportunity in the IT industry after MCA and how to prepere for getting the opportunities. 

Expert Talk on "Logical and Lateral Thinking"

Department of MCA had organized an Expert talk on "Logical and Lateral Thinking" for FYMCA students by Mr. Shrikant Karode, SME, Nashik on 22nd Dec 2022 from 11.00am to 1.00pm. He discussed about how logic building is done behind the coding. Students got aware about variuos basics subject in thier curriculum from this talk. 

Design Contest

Department of MCA had organized a Design Contest for FYMCA Students on 21st Dec 2022 from 1.30pm to 3.00pm. Prof. Nayana Jangle, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, KKWIEER, Nashik worked as a judge for the Design Contest. Total 7 groups were participated in this event and three rankers were selected. The topics for the design contest were:-

Mini Project Competition for SYMCA students

A mini project competition for the course “Project Based Learning- II” was conducted on 7^th and 8^th Dec 2022 organized by the Department of MCA, K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering and Education Research, Nashik .

Prof. Dr. Y. D. Bhise,  Assistant  Professor, Computer Engineering Department & Prof. Yogita Shewale, Information Technology Department, K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering and Education Research, Nashik worked as judges for the competition.

Total 37 groups participated in the competition and the first 3 rankers were declared. The projects are from various domains such as Zoom Clone, Image/ Colour Processing System, Online Insurance System, Plant Disease Detection, Breast Cancer Detection System, Eye Controlled Mouse, Women Safety Application, Fake News Detection System, Pharmacy Management System, Online Resume Builder, Good Companion social Application, Face Recognition System, Hand Gesture System, Pose Estimation System, Image to text convertor etc.

Judges appreciated efforts and work done by the students. The activity was coordinated by Prof. Sujata Kangune, MCA Department under the guidance of Head of Department Prof. Dr. Vandana Bagal.

Expert Talk on Cloud Computing

An Expert talk on the topic "Cloud Computing" was conducted on 2nd Dec 2022 at 11:00 am to 12:00pm at Department of MCA for FYMCA & SYMCA students. The talk was conducted by Mrs. Archana V. Bendale, Java Trainer, SoftCrowd Technologies, Nashik. She briefed about the cloud computing technologies, Utility computing, Service oriented Architecture, Service Level Agreement & Characteristics of cloud computing. The session was coordinated by Prof. R. R. Patil, Prof. A. D. Acharya and Prof. A. L. Rane.
